Eliminate Eye Wrinkles and Dry Eyes

Are you looking for a fast and effective way to reduce wrinkles around your eyes or relieve chronic dry eyes?

We are now offering ThermiEyes®, an innovative, non-surgical treatment option that has been proven to reduce wrinkles without the need for any downtime.

This quick and painless* procedure relies on the radiofrequency energy of ThermiSmooth technology to heat the superficial skin. Unlike other technologies, a recent study has demonstrated that this procedure is both tolerable and safe for patients1 seeking an improvement in the extremely sensitive skin around the eyes.

Expect these typical results

The typical results from the ThermiEyes® procedure include:

  • tightening of the skin around the eye areas due to the stimulation and remodeling of the collagen
  • improvement of the skin’s texture
  • a reduction in wrinkles, fine lines and sagging skin

Most patients will see results after the first treatment, but many will require more than one treatment for the best results.

Effective dry eye treatment

Another recent study has demonstrated the effective use of this technology to reduce Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD), also known as dry eyes. Studies have shown that the improvement of elasticity and reduction of laxity in the eyes may address symptoms often associated with dry eyes in patients2. In a study of 18 participants, 72% or 13 of the 18 participants reported that the treatment improved the symptoms associated with dry eyes.

Your Treatment

ThermiEyes® only requires approximately 10-15 minutes per eye, making it a procedure you can manage with a busy lifestyle. A ThermiEyes® treatment cycle involves the application of a cold gel to the treatment area and use of a handheld device that is moved along the treatment area, circularly. Heat comes through the device and adjusts automatically based on the patient’s temperature of their skin. This ensures that the procedure remains safe and comfortable for the patient.

Patients can return to their normal functions, including wearing contact lenses and make up following the treatment. The only known side effects are some mild redness and/or swelling on the treatment area that resolves naturally and swiftly.

We recommend coming in for a consultation to determine if you are a candidate for this procedure and to understand your needs and the approximate number of applications to achieve your desired results.

*While most patients consider this treatment to be painless, with patient variability in pain tolerance, this could vary. However, a recent study by Dr. Key has shown that all participants found the procedure to be pain-free.

How many treatments will you need?

Typically, patients require approximately 3-5 applications every 2 weeks; however, the number of applications may vary depending on skin type and desired result. Full results are usually achieved between 3 to 6 months. Treatments can be done every 2 weeks until the desired result is achieved. Maintenance is recommended every 6 months, following completion of the full treatment in order to maintain the desired effect in the long-term.
