Smooth Away Wrinkles in 20 Minutes or Less
Looking in the mirror, you're plagued by crow’s feet around your eyes, deep forehead furrows, pesky frown lines, and prominent bands on your neck (informally known as "turkey neck"). You hate how old and tired you look.
You aren't ready for surgery and want something that will erase those wrinkles with minimal downtime. BOTOX COSMETIC® or DYSPORT® may be the solution. How BOTOX COSMETIC® works: Both products are purified botulinum toxins that are gently injected into the muscles causing your wrinkles. This blocks nerve signals in the muscles, relaxing them so it can no longer contract and crease the overlying skin. A single injection can temporarily give you fewer to zero wrinkles. It can also relieve a number of medical conditions affecting the eyes.
Why you want BOTOX COSMETIC® or DYSPORT® What BOTOX® can fix
- You notice wrinkles around your eyes, between your brows and across your forehead.
- Your brows sag, pushing down on your eyes.
- You have prominent bands (platsyma bands) on your neck, adding years to your appearance.
- You appear tired, or even angry, when you are not.
- You don't want to have surgery, yet.
- You want results relatively quickly, without a long recovery time.
Dr. Kara uses BOTOX® to treat hyperhidrosis and eye conditions such as:
- Blepharospasm (eye twitching)
- Strabismus (crossed eyes)
- Muscle spasms
High satisfaction rate
In a comprehensive review of patients who had received BOTOX® treatment published in the journal, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, patient satisfaction was consistently and significantly high, ranging from more than 65% to more than 90%, depending on the facial area treated, dose, assessment, and other treatment specifics. What’s more amazing is that BOTOX® reduced perceived age relative to current age by approximately 5 years. Can you imagine looking 5 years younger without the pain and recovery time of surgery?
Get a FREE microdermabrasion session with your injectable treatment.
Right before your injection, you'll receive a complimentary microdermabrasion. You won't find this at many other clinics, since it's something that's unique. We do this for your safety and comfort. Not only will this leave you with a clearer, glowing complexion afterward, it also ensures that your face is totally clean to dramatically reduce the risk of infection. The typical practice is to just wipe the area of injection with some alcohol, but we don't think that's enough! With a prior microdermabrasion, there's no threat of contaminating the treated area after your injection, either, since you won't have any makeup or other product on your face to spread around.
Our microdermabrasion device does not contain crystals, therefore there is no risk of damaging or irritating your skin prior to injection.

BOTOX® as a medical treatment
Certain eye conditions, like crossed eyes, are related to the muscles that control our eyes. BOTOX® works by temporarily paralyzing muscles, which can help control crossed eyes. It can also provide relief from twitches and spasms in the muscles around your eyes.
Chronic migraines, stress urinary incontinence and depression have also all been successfully treated with BOTOX.
Proven effective in clinical studies
In 2015, two Canadian doctors found that BOTOX can rejuvenate your skin. The study tracked 43 women who used BOTOX for the first time. They were treated for mild wrinkles on the forehead and around the eyes. Researchers observed that BOTOX could increase skin elasticity by 30%! This helps to strengthen the skin, fighting off wrinkles for a longer time. According to researchers, BOTOX promotes the production of collagen and elastin, the proteins that make our skin firm and elastic. The study also found that the effects on the skin’s elasticity lasted for three to four months and after that the skin returned to the same condition as before BOTOX injections. The study was published in JAMA Facial Plastic Surgery.

Tell me a little about the history of BOTOX and botulinum toxin.
In 1820, a German doctor named Justinus Kerner discovered the botulinum toxin, produced by a bacteria called Clostridium botulinum. In 1944, the botulinum toxin was isolated and purified into a crystallized form by Dr. Edward J. Schantz. In 1953, Dr. Vernon Brooks discovered that a small dose of botulinum toxin could treat muscle spasms. In the early 70's, Dr. Alan B. Scott found that botulinum toxin could cure crossed eyes. In 1989, Allergan released BOTOX, the first botulinum toxin proven by the FDA to cure crossed eyes, eyelid spasms and squinting problems. In 1992, dermatologists started using BOTOX to treat brow wrinkles. In 2002, the FDA approved the use of BOTOX for cosmetic reasons, specifically to eliminate wrinkles in the forehead. Nowadays, it is the number one non-surgical cosmetic procedure in the world.
